HIDING SENSITIVE DATA ITEM USING ASSOCIATION RULE MINING

Abstract

Data mining useful technology through which sensitive information and the relationships among the items in a database are identified .the users and originations are need to share their data and they should manage the data for preserving the privacy of sensitive data for their progress. The concept of preserving the privacy of information in data mining was introduced to manage the sharing of information. This paper presents a hybrid algorithm with distortion technique with both support-based and confidence-based approaches for privacy preserving. The proposed algorithm tries to hide sensitive rules from the perspective of the database owner and maintain useful association rules.
