Abstract

The article is going to be present a general idea for intrusion detection system which will enhance efficiency as compare existing intrusion detection system. The proposed concept is using data mining techniques. In this clustering and classification data mining technique has applied for anomaly detection field of intrusion detection. Anomaly learning approaches are able to detect attacks with high accuracy and to achieve high detection rates. However, the rate of false alarm using anomaly approach is equally high.
